This series was made in 2019. I was thinking about memories from the past and issues around what is remembered and what is lost. I made photographic masks from archival images of myself, my sister, various school friends, and even an ex-girlfriend.



I decided to use a framework in each image of black and white masks and black and white archival photographs. I like a formal structural thread to run through a group of images.
